| The “Birch Accent Pillow” is made of 100% natural hemp, and features a silhouetted branch design that is screen printed by hand using a natural water based process ... creating an antiqued, sun faded look. Hemp fabric looks and feels like fine linen, but hemp fiber grows up to 6 times faster than flax. The pillow insert is filled with Kapok, and has great loft. These pillows were chosen to show at HauteGREEN, a curated exhibition of “the best in sustainable design for the contemporary home,” and featured in Harpers Bazaar Sept 2007. Pillow cover is machine washable. The U.S. government prohibits the growing of hemp (cannabis family) in the United States, but does not prohibit sales of hemp textile products. Made in India. Available in: Square with chocolate leaves 17 x 17, and Rectangle with chocolate leaves 12 x 21 All LOOP products are certified by reputable certification organizations, and meet the Global Organic Textiles Standard (GOTS), the highest set of standards for organic textiles.
